Laura Belle Sharp

Laura Belle (Shelton) Sharp, age 79, of Caryville passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at LaFollette Medical Center. She was a member of Lake City Church of God. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family & grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Sterling & Callestine (Bruce) Shelton, brothers Lloyd "Bud", Foister Lee, Oscar Hewitt, Burgin Deloy "Muv", Johnnie Lester and James Shelton, sisters Pernie Gwin, Sarah Evans and twin sister Lilly Shelton.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years Benny James Sharp of Caryville, son Michael James Sharp & wife Suzanne of Jacksboro, daughter Tonya Tyann & husband Gary Toler of Lake City, grandchildren Christopher, Joshua, Amanda, & Courtney, brothers Burton "Pood" Shelton & wife Vivian, Pete Shelton & wife Bonnie all of Caryville, and Don Shelton & wife Brenda of Jacksboro, sisters Jessie Shelton of Caryville, Becky Howard & husband Doug of Lake City, several nieces & nephews, and special friends Onie Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10th, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev Charles Harness and Rev Ray Woods officiating. Interment will be on Tuesday, June 11th, 2013 at 11:00 am at Campbell Memorial Gardens.
