Lawrence Hill

Lawrence Hill age 69 of LaFollette, TN passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. He was born on January 13, 1942. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother that loved his family and enjoyed being around people. He also loved working on old cars when he was able and being outside.

He was preceded in death by his father Roy Roc Hill, mother Mary Pennington, infant daughter Tammy Hill, brother Bill Hill, and sisters Anna Mae Goins and Lillie Harris.

He is survived by his sons Ricky Hill and wife Phyllis of LaFollette, TN and Lawrence Tracy Hill and wife Kathy of Caryville, TN, brothers Hubert Hill and wife Cynthia of Ohio, Harley Hill of LaFollette, and Robert Hill of LaFollette, sisters Delphia Lamb and husband Bill of Indiana, Pearl Dixon of Morristown, TN, and Glenda Hill of Morristown, TN, several nieces and nephews, 7 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren Cobin Red and Bailey Ann Carroll and Rhianna Farmer.

Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 in the Martin-Wilson chapel with Rev Jimmy Griffith and Rev. James Leach officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011 in the Powell Valley Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2011.
