Lawrence Madron

Madron, age 71 of Lafollette passed away Monday, August 25, 2008 at his home. Mr. Madron was a member of Glade Springs Baptist Church. He retired from General Motors in 1985 in Kettering, Ohio. He enjoyed church, the mountains, fishing and four wheelers and loved his family very much. He was a hard worker and provided for his family and put others before him.

Preceded in death by Parents: Bob and Alice Queener Madron. Sisters: Frankie Cole and Helen Powell.

Survived by Wife: Irene Madron of Lafollette. Son: David Madron of Lafollette. Daughters and Sons in Law: Deborah and Billy Harris of Dayton, Ohio. Linda and Bill Whiteman of Franklin, Ohio. Sandra and Ira Bizzell of GA. 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Thursday, August 28, 2008 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Hobert McCreary and Rev. Chris Stanley officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Friday in Powell Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday before funeral service.
