Lela Ann Daugherty

Lela Ann Daugherty, age 71, of Jacksboro passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at LaFollette Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a very loving mother and grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church and playing the piano.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank & Linda Lou (Lawson) Thompson, husband Douglas Daugherty; brothers Frank, Roy and Homer Thompson and sister Glenna Cupp.

She is survived by her sons Kenny Daugherty & wife Michell of LaFollette and Jason Daugherty & wife Nicole of Jacksboro; daughter Tonja Duggins & husband Mike of Kentucky; brothers Roscoe Thompson & wife Carolyn of Caryville and Jim Thompson of LaFollette; sisters Mary Pike & husband Henry of Indiana and Caroline Daugherty of Caryville and grandchildren Kayla, Sara Beth, Alex, Chase and Megan.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow with Rev. Bruce Wallace officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 am on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Indian Creek Cemetery.
