Lena Henderson

Henderson, Lena M passed away peacefully on March 19, 2013. She was born July 12, 1924 to George and Mary Roberts in Fork Ridge, TN. Lena was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, three brothers, her loving husband of 35 years, Floyd Henderson, and two grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters, Bertha Hawkins and Betty Petree and children Margaret (Jerry) Downend, Eugene Henderson, Bill (Pam) Henderson, Minnie (Chuck) Lake, and Debbie (Greg) Fannin, Lena enjoyed her 17 grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Lena loved her flowers and gardening and was blessed with a "green thumb." The family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton for all of their care and compassion during this difficult time. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 22 from 6 to 7PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 7PM with Pastor Don Kincer, officiating. Lena will then be taken to MARTIN WILSON FUNERAL HOME, LaFollette, TN for a visitation on Monday, March 25 from 1-2PM followed by a graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery in LaFollette.
