Leonard J Evans

Leonard J Evans, age 75, of Caryville passed away on Wednesday, August 20th, 2014. He was a very loving father and brother that enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting, and taking care of his family. Leonard was very proud of his grandsons.

He was preceded in death by parents Lacy & Bethania (McGhee) Evans and wife Sarah Evans.

He is survived by his son Brian Evans & wife Krista of Caryville; daughter Linda Chapman & husband Michael of Clinton; brother Marvin Evans & wife Robin of Jacksboro; sisters Mildred Hatmaker of Caryville, Frankie Adkins of LaFollette, Evelyn Yancy & husband Donald of Maryland and JoAnn Leach & husband Wayne of LaFollette; and grandchildren Joel, Joshua, Isaac and Jacob.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, August 22nd, 2014 in the Martin Wilson chapel. Funeral service will follow the visitation with Rev. Ron Williams & Rev. George Asbury officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014 Campbell Memorial Gardens with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside services.
