Leonard D Vinsant

Leonard D. Vinsant, age 80 of Jacksboro passed away on Wednesday, November 13th, 2013. He was a very loving husband of 54 years, father, and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, gathering together with LA Cruiser Car Club members which he had been a member of for years, working on his antique car, and going out to eat with his brothers and sisters in Christ. He will be sadly missed by those that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by her parents Emory & Myrtle (Hatmaker) Vinsant, son Bruce Vinsant, and brother Gene Vinsant.

He is survived by his wife Roberta Vinsant of Jacksboro, son Lynn Vinsant & wife Melinda of Jacksboro, former daughter-in-law Shannon Higgenbotham of Florida, brother Claude Vinsant & wife Barbara of North Carolina, sister-in-law Judy Vinsant of LaFollette, and grandchildren Ben & Branden Vinsant of Jacksboro.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow visitation at 8:00 pm with Bro. Jim Wesson officiating. Interment will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Cumberland View Cemetery.
