Levenie Pierce

LaVenie Pierce, age 99, was born on May 13, 1913 and went to her Heavenly Home on June 28, 2012 at Methodist Center in Oak Ridge. She was the last living charter member of Bradens Chapel Church.

Preceded in death husband: Aaron Pierce. Two stepsons: Carl and Nolan Pierce Parents: Fred and Barbara Cain Braden. Brothers: Brice, Oba, Arvil and Milton Braden. Sisters: Betty and Tilda Braden. Great grandson: Landon Reynolds.

Survived by daughter: Betty Monday of Speedwell. Six grandchildren who were the joy of her life, Ronald Pierce, Robby, Kenneth and Calvin Monday, Debbie Jessie and Diana Reynolds. Five nieces and nephews whom she helped raise, Evelyn Lay, Ruth Lay, Mildred Tressler, Leroy and Butch Braden. Great grandchildren: Kendra and Brent Shepherd, Austin Reynolds, Leslie, April, Josh and Matthew Jessie, Brittany and Chelsea Monday. Brother: Mack Braden of Maynardville. Sister: Jane Edwards. Host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 PM Sunday at Braden's Chapel Baptist Church with Elder JC Monday and Rev. Kenny Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Bradens cemetery. Mrs. Pierce will lie in state from 1 until 2 PM before funeral service. Family will receive friends Saturday June 30, 2012 in Martin Wilson Chapel from 6-8PM
