Lillian Josephine Shepperd

Lillian Josephine Shepperd, age 87, of LaFollette passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. She was a wonderful sweet woman with a gentle quiet spirit. Mrs. Shepperd devoted her life to caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her Husband: James Wallace Shepperd. Daughter, Alice Ruth Shepperd. Parents, Bill and Ruth Smith. Brothers, Bill Smith Jr and Carl Smith. Sisters, Flossie Smallwood, Wilma Riggs and Della Lou Hensley.

Lillian is survived by Sons, James W. Shepperd and wife Donna, Mike Shepperd, Gary Shepperd and wife Rita and Steve Shepperd. Daughters, Margaret Stahley and husband Dennis, Lisa Boruff and husband Donald, Tammy Walden and companion Richard Herbein. Brother, Earl Smith. Sister, Paulette and husband Rice O'Quinn. Nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and a very special friend JoAnn McKeehan.

Visitation will be held on Sunday March 10, 2013 from 6 til 8 PM in Martin Wilson Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 8 PM with Rev. Landon Lane, Rev. Michael Johnson and Rev. Lonnie Welden officiating. Interment will be 11 AM on Monday March 11, 2013 in Bakers Forge Cemetery.
