Linda Mae Farmer

Linda Mae Farmer of Speedwell, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 11:52 pm.  She was a loving mother and grandmother, who was loved and cherished by many of her family and friends. Linda loved the Lord and was always telling others about him. She loved children and they all loved her. She loved spending time with Joseph and no matter how sick she was, he could always make her laugh and she cherished every moment she was able to spend with him. Robie, Robin and Joseph meant everything to her. She was a treasure to have in our lives. Linda loved everyone and never met a stranger. She was a member of Speedwell Church of God and she loved all of her church family and her dear pastor Brother Leonard. She will be greatly missed by many.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband Robie Jennings Farmer, father Roy Ford, mother Agnes Ford, brother Joe Ford and sister Shirley Bedford.

Linda is survived by her daughter Robin Farmer Hensley, and special grandson Joseph Zachary Hensley, daughter Regina Cox and granddaughter Jodi Cox, Nicole Wyatt, whom was like a daughter that she helped raise, and grandchildren, Bryson Shiflet and Jasmine Wyatt, brothers Mike and Jeff Ford, Tommy, Jerry and Lynn Hicks, sisters Rhonda Chapman, and Debbie Boshears, special nephew Mack Chapman, special niece June Wilson whom did not leave her and helped take care of her the last two week of her life, several special nieces and nephews and a host of dear family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 11:00 - 1:00 pm at the Speedwell Church of God with the service following with Bro. Leonard Ellison and Bro. Elijah Ellison officiating. Interment will be immediately following in Indian Creek Cemetery in Jacksboro.
