Lois Dean (Evans) Holder

Lois Dean Holder, age 85 of Tazewell, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Cumberland Village. She was born March 16, 1936 in Duff to the late Harvey Henry and Lettie (Marlow) Evans. Lois enjoyed reading, dancing, working puzzles, and playing solitare.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Allen Holder; daughters, Catherine Hall-Ledford and Ruby Lynn Hall; son, Ricky Hall; brothers, Willis Ray (Buster) Evans, Bobby Evans, Millard Evans, Billie Evans, Michael Evans, and H.L. Evans.

Lois is survived by her sons, Dennis Hall and Tim Hall and wife, Carolyn; daughters, Willa Collins and husband, John, Regina Davis and husband, Bill; step-son, Bobby Holder and wife, Debra; brother, Carl Evans and wife, Hattie; sisters, Loretta Ridenour, Ann Adkins and husband, Thomas, Lunda Evans and husband, Gayle and Helen Brock. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 14th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Thomas Adkins officiating.
