Lola Cox

Lola Cox, age 86, of Jacksboro passed away on Tuesday, October 7th, 2014. She was a member of the LaFollette Presbyterian Church. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved riding horses, going to horse shows, and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jim & Sadie (Womble) Hicks, husband Dulan Cox, infant son Franklin Fetzer, daughter Mary Isley, and sister Eudeana Rouse.

She is survived by her daughters LaVerne Vinsant & husband Edward of Ohio, Dianna Chapman & husband Wayne of Jacksboro, and Rosa Tompkins of Georgia; brother Eldon Hicks & wife Phyllis of Hickory, NC; sister June Robbins of Clinton; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, October 10th, 2014 with Rev. Bobby Wilson officiating at Jacksboro Cemetery.
