Lola Lee King

Lola Lee King age 70 of LaFollette, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Ft Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville. She assured her family that she went home to be with the Lord. She was the strongest woman God had blessed the family to know.  Lola was protective of her children, a wonderful wife and mother who loved her family very much. She was also a dedicated nurse at the LaFollette Medical Center.

Mrs. King was preceded in death by Parents: Wesley Blain and Ida Mae Weldon Hickman;  Husband: Paul E. King.

Survivors include Sons: Victor Blain Carroll of Duff. Raymond Clyde King of LaFollette. Daughters: Margie Paulette Kennedy of Beauford, MO. Paula Renee Herman of LaFollette. Teresa Lynette Pitcock of Greenville. Kathy Ann Sola of Conyers, GA. Deborah Gail Nelson of LaFollette . Pamela Denise Muncey of Maynardville. 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Mary Alice McGhee of Jacksboro. Ruthie Mae Stalter of Casa Grande, Arizona. Several nieces nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Our family extends a very special thank you to Frankie Nelson, Margie Evans, Sherry Parton, and Betty McGhee, for the excellent care they lovingly gave to our mother.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Sunday, January 25 in Martin Wilson Chapel. Interment will be 11 AM Monday in Chadwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday night before funeral service.
