Loretta Adkins

Loretta Adkins age 73 of Lafollette passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Rock creek Baptist Church and was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that loved her family very much. Loretta loved to fish and work in her garden. She enjoyed going to church when she was able.

Preceded in death by Husband: George Walden. Parents: Banner and Mary Marlow. Brothers: Frank, LB, George, Albert, Jonah, and Donnie Marlow. Sisters: Anna Mae Wilson.

Survived by Sons: Hughie Adkins and Wife: Helen. Jerry Marlow and Wife: Wanda all of Lafollette. 3 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Brothers: Jack Marlow of TN. Danny Marlow of Stinking Creek, and Carlos Marlow and Wife: Pearl of Lafollette. Sisters: Brenda Rosenbaum and Husband: Floyd of Lafollette. Wanda LaMarr and Husband: Floyd of Lafollette. Irene Bolton of Lafollette, Sheila Johnson of Pioneer, and Debbie Huddleston and Husband: Paul of KY.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Saturday, February 20 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Mike Smith and Rev. Ray Woods officiating. Interment will be 1 PM Sunday in Peabody Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday night before funeral service.
