Lucille Kirby

Lucille Kirby, age 81 of Jacksboro passed away December 23, 2008 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.

Mrs. Kirby was born February 20, 1927 in Red Ash, TN to Lindsay and Willie Rutherford Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Preston Kirby Sr. and a son David Michael Brown.

Survivors include her son Preston Kirby Jr. and wife Beverly of Jacksboro; a daughter Wanda Sue McGhee of Caryville; a sister Rozella Schultz of Muncie, IN; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Campbell Memorial Gardens for a graveside service at 1 p.m.
