Lucille Vincent

Lucille F. Emmett Vincent age 87 of Lafollette passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at her home. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Vincent enjoyed cooking, reading books, loved listening to gospel music, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren very much.

Preceded in death by Husbands: Walter Vincent and Rev. Arnold Emmett. Parents: John and Leona Cordell. Brothers: Rev. Ralph, James, Kenneth, and Evan Cordell. Sisters: Jean and JoAnn Cordell.

Survived by Son: Wayne Emmett and Wife: JoAnn of Lafollette. Step Daughters: Darlene Hatmaker and Husband: Ken of Knoxville, Charlene Hatmaker and Husband: Ron of Deer Lodge, TN and Carolyn Lockwood of Clinton. Grandchildren: Kristi McGhee, Audrey McKamey, Kelly Emmett, and Jason Carden. 9 Step Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Naomi King, Lorene Leach and Husband: Ed, and Dorothy Tackett all of Lafollette. Special Friends: Opal Orick and Sue Draughn, Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of Relatives and Friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Saturday, January 22nd in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Michael Vincent officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Sunday in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday night before funeral service.
