Luola Cummins Ayers

Luola Cummins Ayers, age 94, of LaFollette passed away on Friday, January 24th, 2014 at home. She was a member of Stanfield Church of God. She loved genealogy which led her to find out she was a direct descendent of David Boone's sister, embroidering, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her father Maynard Cummins, mother Rutha Davis Cummins, step-mother Bertha Cummins, husband James Ayers, 5 infant sons, and brother Leland Cummins.

She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Hatfield & husband Elbert; granddaughter Misty Hatfield Dykes & husband Chris; grandchildren Addison & Grayson Dykes; nieces Judy Wilson, Lois Ayers, and Charlotte Hutchinson; several great-nieces & nephews; and special friends Flossie Walden & Dessie Smiddy.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 26th, 2014 in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will follow the visitation with Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. Interment with follow the service at the Hall Cemetery. Special thanks for Brenda Weaver, Brenda Bolton, and Melissa West & family.
