Mae B. Smith, age 89 of Speedwell passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County.

Preceded in death by Husband: Charlie R. Smith. Parents: Horace and Callie Green Butler. Son: Bill Smith. Brother: Ed Butler. Sisters: Nellie Lawson, Hallie Bailey and Mary Smith.

Survived by Sons: Roy, Jack, and Ray Smith all of Speedwell. Daughters: Charlotte Ayers of Lafollette. Mary Ann, Georgia and Wilma Smith all of Speedwell. 13 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 1 PM Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jerry Yancey and Rev. Steve Goins officiating. Interment will follow in Green Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday night at the funeral home.
