Maggie Ayers

September 1, 1936 — June 22, 2009

Maggie Ayers age 72 of Pioneer went home to be with Jesus on Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Jellico Community Hospital. She enjoyed going to church, singing, cooking, and sewing. Mrs. Ayers loved her family very much.

Preceded in death by Husband: Ernest Ayers. Parents: Gillis and Mattie Perry. Brothers: Monrow and Sillis Perry. Sister: Pauline Bell. Step Son: Jerry Ayers.

Survived by Son and Daughter in Law: Codey and Marie Ayers of Jacksboro. Son: Joe Ayers of Pioneer. Step Son: Randy Ayers of Ohio. Daughter and Son in Law: Michelle and Ron Seymour of Pioneer. Grandchildren: Joseph Ayers, Chris Ayers, Loria Hatfield, Jonathan Ayers, Michelle Ivey, Pam Smith, Jamie King, and Hanna King. Brothers: Everett Perry of LaFollette. Woodrow Perry of Habersham, and Arvil Perry of Morley. Sisters: Flossie Rose of Scott Co., Virgie Baird of LaFollette, Ellen Martindale of Roane Co., Irene Hicks of LaFollette.

Funeral service will be 11 AM Friday, June 26 at Friendship Community Church with Rev. Andrew Ayers and Rev. Pat Ayers officiating. Interment will follow in Davis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Thursday night in Martin Wilson Chapel.
