Marcil Kay Mills

Marcil Kay Mills, age 66 of Lafollette passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Bear Wallow Baptist Church. Marcil was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother that had a very loving heart and always saw the good in everybody. She enjoyed helping others, loved to cook and take care of others. She loved working in the garden or anything to do with the outdoors and loved to go to church and listen to gospel music and watch it on T.V.

Preceded in death by Husband: Sam Mills. Son: Scott Mills. Parents: Millard and Sarah Grace Russell McGhee. Brothers: Leon and Bill McGhee.

Survived by Sons and Daughters in Law: Russell and Libbie Mills. Matthew and Sabrina Mills. Son: Mark Mills all of Lafollette. Daughter and Son in Law: Leona and Chris Thornsbury. Daughter: Sheila Mills of Lafollette. 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Brothers: Jimmy McGhee of Ohio, Doyle McGhee of Caryville, Jack McGhee of Oho.

Funeral Service will be 11 AM Saturday, July 18, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jerry Foust officiating. Interment will follow in Harness Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Saturday before funeral service.
