Margaret Mae (Monday) Bailey

Margaret Mae Bailey, age 89 of Speedwell departed this life Sunday, November 26, 2017.  She was a member of Flat Hollow Methodist Church.  Margaret was a teacher's aide at East LaFollette Elementary School, and a receptionist at ETHRA.  She enjoyed quilting and flowers.

She is preceded in death by husband Amos Bailey; parents Fate & Olivia (Bowman) Monday; brother Bill Monday; sisters Opal Scott, Jean Claiborne, and Wreva Heatherly.

She is survived by daughter Sharron Parks & husband Larry of LaFollette; son Bill Bailey of Speedwell; granddaughter Heather Parks of LaFollette; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be 6 – 8 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 8 PM with Rev. Hobert McCreary.  Friends and family will meet 11 AM Wednesday, November 29, 2017 for interment at Bailey Cemetery in Speedwell.
