Margaret (Ward) Burress

Margaret Burress, age 71 of Dunkirk, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Margaret loved to crochet and work word puzzles.  She also enjoyed swimming, and going to yard sales.

She is preceded in death by husband Waymon Burress; parents Charlie and Mary (Mason) Ward; brothers Charles Ward, Clifton Ward, Bryon Ward, Virgil Ward, R.P. Ward, and L.M. Ward; sisters Ruth Cross, Maxine McFarland, and Jennifer Sharp.

She is survived by sons Randy Burress and wife Helen of Florida, and Ronnie Burress of Indiana; daughter Belinda Duckworth and husband Mark of Indiana; brothers Thomas Ward and wife Lorene, Dillon Ward, and Wendel Cross and wife Ruby, all of Tennessee; 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren; special niece and caregiver Sandy Sisco.

Visitation will be 11 AM-12 PM Thursday, March 30, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home; funeral service at 12 PM with Pastor Ledford Byrd officiating.  The interment will follow the funeral service to River View Cemetery in Huntsville.
