Margaret Ann Ivey

Margaret Ann Ivey, age 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 8, 2026. She was born on January 31, 1947, to the late Britton and Mildred Guy Burrell. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and attending Indiana Avenue Baptist Church with her sister where she was a member for many years.

In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ulmer; brothers, Gary Burrell; and sons-in-law, Andy Dotson and Denvin Miller.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina Dotson of Knoxville, Beck Ulmer of LaFollette, Ann Ulmer and husband Ricky Mizzell of LaFollette; brother, Richard Burrell and wife Karen of LaFollette; sister, Carolyn Sue Ulmer; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday July 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Monday July 13, 2026, to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
