Margaret Ann (Kitts) Wylie, a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and cherished friend, departed this world on February 3, 2026, at LaFollette Medical Center, leaving a rich tapestry of memories woven into the heart of Campbell County. Born on January 2, 1964, in LaFollette, she graced the world with a spirit that emulated warmth and joy, nurtured by her love for family and cooking.
An integral part of the community, Margaret dedicated her life to Ward's Corner Market, where she was renowned for preparing the finest breakfasts, anyone could hope for. Her culinary creations brought people together, feeding not just their hunger but also their hearts. Those who tasted her meals often left feeling satisfied in both body and spirit, a testament to her exceptional talent in the kitchen.
Margaret's love extended beyond prepared meals and embraced her passion for gardening and caring for her yard. But nothing was more precious to her than her grandbabies, who lit up her life and filled her days with laughter and love.
In the circles of family and friendship, she will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Timothy Wylie, of Jacksboro. Together, they fostered a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her children, Christine Wilson and her husband Joe of LaFollette, Daryl Evans and his wife Emily of Jacksboro, and Kasha Cook of Jacksboro, carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. Caring siblings, Elmer "Mutt" Kitts and wife Jeanie of LaFollette, Eugene Kitts and Mindi Kitts of LaFollette, along with Tommy Sue Kitts Long of LaFollette, will forever cherish the memories shared and the bonds created.
Margaret's family also includes several grandchildren whose joyous laughter and innocent curiosity filled her heart with pride. Alongside them, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members will remember the happiness she brought. Her circle of love included her best friend, Shelia Hix, and her treasured work family, all of whom felt the depth of her kindness and commitment to the people around her.
Margaret's journey on this earth has come to an end, but her spirit has not. Amidst the sorrow of her passing, we find comfort knowing that she has gone to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now united with her parents, Elmer and Betty (Rogers) Kitts and other family and friends who have departed this world.
