Marie Burnette

Marie Wilson Burnette age 65 of Lafollette passed away Monday December 1, 2008 at her residence. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Burnette loved her family very much and was a server for Perkins restaurant.

She was preceded in death by Parents: Nicholas and Vista Carroll Sellers. First Husband: Al Wilson. Brother: Francis Sellers. Sister: Estee Mae Sellers.

Survived by Husband: Verlin Burnette. Sons: Tim Wilson and wife Anissa Wilson and Randy Wilson all of LaFollette. Daughter and Son in Law: Terry and Jan Daugherty of Jacksboro. Brother: Ray Sellers of Elk Valley. Sisters: Mildred Helton of LaFollette, Lula Milan of Ohio, Margie Fiest of South Carolina, Carolyn Norman of Jacksboro, Joyce Sparks of Knoxville and Kathy Harding of Jacksboro and special sister-in-law Nila Sellers and a special niece Michelle Seiber. Grandchildren: Nicholas Wilson, Zachary Wilson, Whitney Wilson and Amber Wilson, Ashley Martin and step-grandchildren Katie Hamblin and Jordan Hamblin;  Great Grandchildren: Justin and Jordan Nelson and Mackenzie Martin.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Indian Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Glen McNeeley officiating. Interment will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday night in Martin Wilson Chapel.
