Marie Josephine Couberth

Marie "Jody" Josephine Couberth, age 87, of LaFollette passed away on Saturday, October 25th, 2014. She was a member of the House of Prayer and Praise. She enjoyed going to church and witnessing to people about the Lord and she loved her children and grandchildren very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy & Anna Copeland; husband Danny Couberth; sons Lonnie and Layton Marlowe; daughter Jo Lee Russell; and brothers Edgar and James Copeland.

She is survived by her son Roy Marlowe & wife Patsy of Orlando, FL; sister Rena Copeland of Sheffield, AL; 6 grandchildren, 7 grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 30th, 2014 in the Martin Wilson chapel with the funeral service to follow with Rev. Mike Franklin officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 am on Friday, October 31st, 2014 at Woodlawn Cemetery.
