Mary dedicated 19 years of her career to Lincoln Brass and spent an additional 23 years at First Volunteer Bank, where she was admired by her colleagues and known for her strong work ethic. In her personal life, Mary found joy in spending time with her family, especially her five grandsons, who were the light of her life. She is survived by the father of her children, Rick Boshears of Jacksboro; her daughter, Heather Sexton and husband Daniel of Jacksboro; her son, Andrew Boshears and wife Brandi of Clinton; and Phillip Boshears, who was regarded as just like a son to her. Her grandchildren, Sam, Jack, and Max Sexton, Rylan and Breylan Boshears, brought her immense joy. Mary is also survived by her brothers, Joe Blackwell and wife Edna of Jacksboro, and Robert Blackwell of Jacksboro; her sister Ruby Bratcher and husband Jerry of Jacksboro; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom she cherished deeply.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Earl and Arlena (Ramsey) Blackwell; her brothers, Roy, Louie, and William "Bill" Blackwell; and her sisters, Mable Gibson and Marie Ijames.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of LaFollette Health and Rehab for their wonderful care and love shown to Mary during her time of need, as well as to everyone who assisted as a caregiver or visited her during her illness.
