Mary Elizabeth Carroll

Mary Elizabeth Carroll, age 73, of Speedwell passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed crocheting, playing games, watching mystery shows, camping, traveling, shopping, & she loved her family very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents George & Dorothy Karnes; husband Carl Carroll; son Steve Carroll; and brother Newell Karnes.

She is survived by her son Danny Carroll of Pineville, KY; daughters Vickie Fisher of Hammond, MN, Gail Mae Hunter & husband Roy of Speedwell, Zella Carroll of Pineville, KY, and Beverly Cunningham & husband John of Haver Hill, MA; brother James Karnes of Reno, NV; aunt Mattie Carter & husband Lynn; cousins Gary Carter & Barbara & husband Fred; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives & friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, June 6th, 2014 in the Martin Wilson chapel with funeral service to follow with Rev. Kenny Allen officiating. Interment with be at 11:30 am on Saturday, June 7th, 2014 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Knoxville.
