Mary Deloris Elkins

Mary Deloris Elkins age 77 of Caryville, TN passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011. She was born on August 9, 1933. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and sewing. She was a faithful member of Vasper Baptist Church and enjoyed many church activities. She loved her family and was loved by her family and friends and all who met her.

She was preceded in death by her father Leon Cooper, mother Clara Johnson Cooper, husband Kenneth Elkins, brothers James and Henry Cooper, and sisters Laura Cooper and Dorothy Cooper Dishman.

She is survived by her children: Mickel Elkins and wife Vicky of Clarksville, TN, Curtis Elkins and wife Patty of Caryville, TN, Dianna Robertson and husband Robert of Bartlett, TN, and Stuart Elkins and wife Rose of Greenville, TN, step-son Gary Elkins of Crossville, TN, step-daughter Barbara Willoughby of LaFollette, TN, brother Carl Cooper of Ohio, sisters: Betty Henderson-Meekins of NC, Anna Hayes of Michigan, Sandria Elliott of TN, Judy Ross and husband George of TN, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Vasper Baptist Church with Reverend Rick Murphy officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2011 in the Jacksboro Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Martin-Wilson chapel and from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Vasper Baptist Church.
