Mary Ellen Daugherty

Mary Daugherty age 59 of Caryville passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell Co. She was a member of Little Cove Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Daugherty loved gardening, flowers, fishing, and word searching. She also loved to read her bible.

Preceded in death by Parents: Raymond and Mildie Stephens and South.

Survived by Husband: John Daugherty of Caryville. Son: David Daugherty of Muncie, IN. Brothers: Ed South of Smryna, TN and James South of Caryville. Sister: Wilma South of Muncie, IN.  And a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Saturday, September 19 in Martin Wilson Chapel. Interment will be 2 PM Sunday in Rains Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday night before funeral service.
