Mary Lou Martin

Mary Lou Martin, age 84 formerly of Jacksboro , went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 11, 2022 in Tipp City, Ohio. She was born on March 11, 1938 to the late Luther and Ethel (Madison) Phillips. She loved being a homemaker and was of the Church of God Faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Bill Martin, who passed away in 2017; brothers William and Ralph Phillips; and sister Pauline Mills and husband Noah.

She is survived by her son Gary Martin and wife Dorothy of Tipp City, Ohio; granddaughter Jennifer Runyon and husband Justin of Tipp City, Ohio; grandson Greg Martin and Alicia of Englewood, Ohio; great grandchildren Jackson Runyon, Jenabella Runyon, Gavin Martin, and Aubree Martin; brothers Ray Phillips of Florida and Raymond Phillips and wife Irene of Caryville; sisters Zora Lou Phillips-Randolph of Caryville, Wanda Jean Sizemore of Jacksboro, and Sue Ann Lindsay and husband Joe of Jacksboro; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

A visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bo Freeman officiating. Interment to follow funeral service at Campbell Memorial Gardens.
