Mary Elizabeth Maples

Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Maples, age 71, of Carrollton, GA formerly of LaFollette passed away on Friday July 22, 2016. She was a member of Gospel Time Baptist Church, she enjoyed singing, playing guitar , painting, reading, Sunday conversations with Pat and loved spending time with her family and her dog.

Preceded in death by husband Orville Maples, parents Paris and Mary Dean Chapman Caddell. brother Carl Caddell, sister Jeannie Hatfield.

Survived by son Billy Maples and wife Connie of Carrollton, GA, daughter Sheila Thomas and fiancé John Lancaster of Temple, GA. brothers Clifford Caddell of LaFollette and Kyle Caddell of Murfreesboro, TN, sisters Pat Maples of Speedwell, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends,

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday July 25, 2016 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 am on Tuesday July 26, 2016 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for a 10:00 am interment at Glade Springs cemetery.
