Mary Ruth Mcneely

Mary Ruth McNeely, age 94, of LaFollette passed away Friday April 11, 2014. Mrs. McNeely was the oldest member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, she enjoyed yard work, canning, gardening, quilting and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren whom she loved very much.

Preceded in death by husband Arlis "Buster" McNeely, son Charles Tolbert McNeely, parents Frank and Hettie Burris Miller, brother Henry Miller, sisters Eva Hutson and Lula Lough.

Survived by sons Arlis McNeely and wife Dorothy of Elberton, Georgia, George McNeely and wife Brenda of Tipp City, Ohio and daughter in law Brenda McNeely of Rock Hill, South Carolina, daughter Christine Clupper and husband Marvin of Jackson, Georgia, sister Katherine Miller, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 5 -7pm Sunday April 13 2014 in Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow 7:00 pm with Rev. Glen McNeely officiating. Interment will be 10 am Monday April 14, 2014 in Bakers Forge cemetery.
