Mary Jean Minton

Mary Jean Minton age 73 of Lafollette passed away on Saturday July 21, 2012 at the Tennova Hospice in Knoxville. Mary was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible attending to her flowers, going to Royal Blue to see the flowers and the Elk, collecting Jewelry and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by parents Troy and Ella Mae Holman Williams. Brothers Clyde, Robert, Earl and Dewey Williams. Sisters Christine Boshears and Dorothy Wilson.

Survived by Husband of 55 years Charles B. Minton Lafollette. Son Charles Troy Minton of Florida. Daughter Ella Jean Minton of Knoxville and Special Daughter Tina Petree- Shewbrooks of Clinton. Sisters Anna Jewell Myers and Eva Mae Caldwell both of Lafollette and Lois Allen of Clinton. Grandchildren Charles Tanner Minton of Florida and Jeremy Minton of Michigan. Great Grandchild Jordan Minton also of Michigan. Brother-In-Laws Bobby and Oma Minton of Duff, J.T. and Hazel Minton of Georgia, Billy Minton of Lafollette and Joe Minton of Duff. Special friend Linda Kitts and all the friends at the Diner. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Tuesday July 24, 2012 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Visitation is 6-8 PM before funeral services. Interment is 10 AM Wednesday July 25, 2012 at Woodlawn cemetery.
