Mary B. (Hill) Oakes

Mary Oakes, age 76, of LaFollette passed away on Wednesday January 18, 2017. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Oakes was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She enjoyed reading, getting out in nature, and spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Rosea (June Carter) Hill.

Survived by husband Clyde Oakes of LaFollette; daughters Ruth Scudder of LaFollette, Judith Wallace of Illinois, and Joni Oakes of LaFollette; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
