Mary Sue Roddy

Mary "Sally" Sue Roddy, age 73, of Jacksboro passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020.  She was born on June 25, 1947 to the late Russell Fowler and Daisy (Brown) Fowler. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, playing cards and yard sales.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William Roddy Sr.; son in law Mike Sampsel; grandson Derrick Wilhoit; and sisters Brenda Smith and Eva Compton.

She is survived by sons; Bill Roddy and wife Regina (Phillips) Roddy and Luther Roddy and wife Jennifer (Lascola) Roddy; daughter Belinda Daugherty and husband Charles; brother Russell Fowler Jr.; sister Linda Daugherty and Stella LaVann and husband Jim. Twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM on Sunday, December 27, 2020 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with a celebration of life to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. George Asbury officiating. Inurnment will follow celebration of life at Powell Valley Cemetery.
