Mary Ruth Daugherty

Mary Ruth Queener Daugherty, age 81 of Lake City passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010. Mary was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flowers and garden. She loved her grandchildren and family very much and loved going to church.

Preceded in death by Husband: Conda Daugherty. Daughters: Thelma Frabott and Helen Daughtery. Parents: Riley and Lillie White Queener. Brothers: Billy, Leon and Huvon Queener.

Survived by Sons and Daughters in Law: William and Shirley Daugherty of Caryville. Tommy and Linda Daugherty and Ricky and Karen Daugherty all of Jacksboro. Daughters and Sons in Law: Dianna and Tommy Carr of Jacksboro. Tonia and Bob Martin of Lake City. Brother and Sister in Law: Robert and Myra Queener of Knoxville. Sister: Anna Mae Disney of Medford. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Cumberland View Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson and Rev. Floyd Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow in Cumberland View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday night at the funeral home.
