Mary Ruth Wilson

Mary Ruth (Bolinger) Wilson born January 31, 1936 in LaFollette TN. Mary Ruth lived her life devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary Ruth graduated from LaFollette High School, where she then attended and graduated from Knoxville Business College with Administrative Service Skills.  Mary Ruth pursued a career in Civil Services with the United States Army, serving as the Administrative Aid to several US Base Commanders.  Mary Ruth had a gardeners' green thumb and a passion for crocheting, knitting, sewing dresses and cooking, skills she felt the need to pass down to the families.  Mary Ruth was known for her sharp mind and quick wit and had an eye for antiques. Mary Ruth ran several antique and thrift shops in the LaFollette area. Mary's Café operated in downtown LaFollette for many years before she retired.

Mary Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Willie Fred Wilson of LaFollette, daughter Debra Lynn Cook of LaFollette, mother Mary Belle Russell of LaFollette, father Delno Bolinger of Tracy City, brother William Bolinger of LaFollette, sister Peggy Ann Adkins of Oak Ridge, grandmother McGee of LaFollette, cousin Frankie Ann of LaFollette, grandson Michael Robert Kelley of Naples, Florida and many cousins, nieces and nephews in and around the LaFollette area.

Mary Ruth is survived by her son Paul Wilson (Rae) Holiday FL, daughter Peggy Sue Peeples (Joe) Iverness FL, son William Lee Wilson (Lora Jean) LaFollette, son Hubert Maynard Wilson New Port Richey FL, son Jonathan Curtis Wilson (Brittany) his children Allison and Katelyn LaFollette.  Grandchildren Brittany Tadysak (Jordan) her children Alyssa and Axle Naples FL, Teri Lynn Green and her daughter Deborah LaFollette, Rose Mary Wilson and her children Haley and Ethan LaFollette, Donald Peeples Jr ( Kourtnie) Chesapeake VA, Kyl Peeples (Jaime) his children Kyl II and Luna Carly Floral City FL, Jeremy Wade Wilson Sydney OH, Justin Baird and his son Aaron James Clarksville TN, Zachary Ryan Wilson and his sons Andre and Ryan Naples FL, Benjamin Wilson (Andrea) and their sons Lucas and Daniel Naples FL, Alicia Marie Wilson (Corey) and their sons Neil, Nicholas, Nathan and Jacob Port Richey FL, and many other family members in and around the LaFollette area.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, March 19th at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 20th in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Bakers Forge Cemetery in LaFollette.
