Mary (Hatfield) Seymour Adkins

Mary Seymour Adkins, age 87 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 17, 2024. She was born on March 1, 1937, to the late Tillman Hatfield and Rachael Sharp Hatfield. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family and her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband's James Seymour and George Adkins; son-in-law George "Jack" Marlow; brothers Jay, Ben, Marshall, and Sherman Hatfield; sisters Martha Hatfield and Lilly Hatfield.

Mary is survived by her sons Mac Seymour and wife Jennifer of White Oak and Ronald Seymour and wife Michelle of LaFollette; daughters Norma Marlow of LaFollette, Sue White of LaFollette, and Lisa Pittman and husband Jerry; brothers Garfield Hatfield of Clairfield, Robert Hatfield of Clairfield, Clifford Hatfield and wife Barbara of Clairfield, and Arsley "Hoss" Hatfield of Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; special grandchildren Samantha, Courtney, and Matthew; special great grandchild Luke; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. David Goins officiating. Interment to follow funeral service at Hatfield Cemetery.
