Mary Ruth Siler, age 77, of Knoxville went to be with our Lord on February 5, 2012.
She was a member of Faith & Hope Baptist Church of Knoxville. Her favorite hobbies were painting, crossword puzzles, and gardening in her flowers. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother James Calvin & Mabel Daugherty Shown, husband Joseph Andrew Siler, Jr. and son James Calvin Hutchison.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws Vickie & Dewey Loveday, Janice Glover, Nora & Ronnie Lindsay, Susie & Ronnie McGaha, and Tammy & Ronnie Coker, sons and daughter-in-laws Eddie & Carlene Hutchison and Joey & Beth Siler, 24 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, brother Thomas Shown of Knoxville, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Pastor Donnie Woods and Rev Gary Swaggerty officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2012 in the Indian Creek Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be son-in-laws and grandsons.
