Mary Margaret (Mcalister) Sweat

Mary Margaret McAlister Sweat, age 78, passed away on March 11, 2022 at her home.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary McAlister; son, James Jay Swallow; and brother, Paul McAlister.

She is survived by her husband, Elmo Sweat; son, Richard Sweat; daughter, Bridgette Sue Freeman and husband Jackie; brother, Terry McAlister; and sister, Paulette Lemas; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Service times will be announced at a later date.

Mary's wishes were to be cremated.

The family has entrusted the care of Mary Margaret McAlister Sweat to Martin Wilson Funeral Home "Where Families Matter Most."
