Marylene Janette Baird

Marylene Snyder Baird, age 78, of LaFollette passed away February 21, 2016. She was a member of the Old Pathway Gospel Church. Marylene was also a member of the LaFollette Garden Club, Christian Woman's Club, Campbell County FCE Club and was an avid line dancer. She taught line dancing at the Senior Citizen Center. Marylene loved her family very much and enjoyed making quilts.

She was preceded in death by her husband Adrion Baird, parents Richmond and Rachel Mary (Lundsford) Snyder; brother James Snyder.

She is survived by her daughters Melissa & husband Luis Beyer of Maryland and Connie & husband Tom Greiner of LaFollette, TN; brothers Robert Snyder and Eugene Snyder, both of Maryland; sister Sarah McCallum of Colorado; 5 grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and a host of other relatives & friends.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 6-8 pm with the service to follow at 8pm in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. James Leach officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00 am Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for an 11:00 am burial at Valley View Cemetery.
