Maude Smith

Maude Smith, age 99 of Lafollette passed away Friday, October 3rd at the St. Mary's Health and Rehab. Mrs. Smith was a member of Murrayville Baptist Church. She worked at Imperial Reading for 27 years. Mrs. Smith enjoyed quilting and painting and her family was her life.

Preceded in death by Husband: Hubert Smith. Sons: Lillard L., Jimmy R., and H.C Smith. Grandson: Johnny Wilhoit. Parents: James and Nancy Murray Sharp. Brother: Avery Sharp. Sisters: Goldie Robbins and Nila Chitwood.

Survived by Daughters: Inez Hatmaker, Bobbie J. Nelson and Delores Wilson all of Grantsboro. June Wilhoit of California. 19 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren and 22 Great Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be 8 PM Sunday, October 5th 2008 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Bill Rains and Brother Jerry Dagley officiating. Interment will be 2 PM Monday, October 6th in Bakers Forge cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday night before the funeral service.
