Melissa (Missy) Powell

Melissa Jean "Missy" Powell, age 50, of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 20, 2022.She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Missy was a loving daughter and sister that loved taking care of her family and the residents that she had taken care of in over her 34 years of nursing, which she enjoyed immensely. She loved her animals and being outside at her home.

Preceded in death by father Hubert (Elmer) Powell.

Survived by mother Linda Harris Powell, brother Jeff Powell and wife Kelly of LaFollette, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 pm on Wednesday April 27, 2022 in chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with celebration of life service to follow at 1:00.  Interment will follow in Powell Valley cemetery.
