Michael Anthony "Tony" Watson

Michael Anthony "Tony" Watson, age 51 of LaFollette, "The Lord is my Shepherd" entered into Heaven and into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 27, 2023. He was born on April 7, 1972 to the late Mike and Sue (Hunley) Watson. Tony was a faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, where he loved to be. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews that he was crazy about. Tony loved the Atlanta Braves, Tennessee Volunteer sports and professional wrestling. He was one of the biggest Campbell County Cougar sports fans, as you would see him at every Cougar football and basketball home games.

Tony is survived by his brother, Tim Watson of LaFollette; sisters, Renee Gulley and husband Gary of LaFollette, Pam Welch of Harrogate, and Becky Meredith and husband, Bryan of Pioneer. He is also survived by all of his nieces and nephews, who was like his own kids. Tony will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 1st, 2023 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Mark Gillum and Rev. Bill Rutherford officiating. Family and friends will meet on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 at the funeral home at 10:15 AM to go in funeral procession to Elbert Rose Kitts Jr. Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Martin Wilson Funeral Home in Tony's honor and memory.
