Mildred Helen Ellison

Mildred Helen Ellison, age 92, of New Boston, MI passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012. She was a very loving Christian mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family & friends. She was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Lewis & Rosa Broyles, husband Duard William Ellison, sons Michael & Douglas Ellison, brother Ernest Broyles, and sisters Mable White, Gladys Weaver, Ruth Weaver, Esther Powell, & Gertrude Berry.

She is survived by her son Danny Ellison and wife Dorothy of Jacksboro, daughters Carol Overbey & husband Lewis of Knoxville and DeAnna Dagley & husband Ronnie of Michigan, daughters-in-law Debra Ellison and Sue Ellison, sister Wilma Salyers of Maynardville, 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev Ronnie Arnold and Rev Randall Heatherly officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2012 in the Mt. Paran Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
