Mildred Perkey

Mildred Perkey, age 66 of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at LaFollette Medical Center. She was a very loving wife of 50 years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to play bingo, playing with dogs, quilting, and crocheting.

She is preceded in death by her infant children Bobby Joe and Dawn Perkey; parents George and Helen (Palmer) Lambert; great grandchild Bailey Rice; sisters Georgina Snell of California, and Sue Penny of Michigan.


She is survived by her husband Robert Perkey; sons Robert (Robin) Perkey of LaFollette, and Jody (Misty) Perkey of Jacksboro; daughter Elizabeth (Johnny) Dasho of Jacksboro; great grandchild Peyton Rice.

A visitation of friends and family for Mildred will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 29, 2016 in the Chapel at Martin Wilson Funeral Home with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating.
