Mildred Stein

Mildred Stein age 88 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 4, 2010 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell Co. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Johnson City. She was a loving wife of 44 years. Mrs. Stein enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, gardening, and working out doors.

Preceded in death by Husband: Clifford Stein. Parents: James and Linda Rains. Brothers: Ed, Litt, and Ray Rains. Sisters: Aleen Adkins and Ada Hopkins.

Survived by Nephews: Kenneth and Dennis Hopkins, James, Bill and Gene Rains. Nieces: Aleen Muse, Judy Bewley, Wanda Rains, Bonnie Martinize and several other nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be 7 PM Sunday, June 6 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Ken Bewley officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Monday in Douglas Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 PM Sunday night before funeral service.
