Millie Louiza Lawson

Millie Louiza Lawson, age 91 of Lafollette passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the St. Mary's Health and Rehab in Campbell County. Millie was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard and flowers. She was a good mother and loved her family very much. Thanks to everyone at St. Mary's Health and Rehab where she resided for the past 8 years.

Preceded in death by Husband: Elmer Lawson. Parents: Riley and Rebecca Lewallen Chitwood. Brothers: Ausby and H.L. Chitwood. Sisters: Goldie and Josie Douglas.

Survived by Son and Daughter in Law: Wendell and Judy Lawson of Knoxville. Daughter: Wanda Lawson of Lafollette. Special Grandson and Wife: Dawayne and Bridget Lawson of Macon, GA. Great Grandson: Jacob Lawson of Macon, GA. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Adam Hunley officiating. Interment will be 10 AM Thursday in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday night before funeral service.
