Murle Baird

Murle B. Baird age 86, of Jacksboro passed away Friday, February 26, 2010 at Brakebill Nursing Home Inc. in Knoxville. She was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church and loved going to church when she was able. Mrs. Baird was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved working in her garden and quilting.

Preceded in death by Husband: Robert Fransisco Baird. Parents: Henry Batson and Martha Jane Clotfelter Queener. Brothers: Leonard, John and Carl Queener. Sisters: Maggie Lovitt, Thelma Tiller and Mary Tiller. Brother in law: Hugh Miller.

Survived by Sons: Robert Baird and wife Terri and Lynn Baird all of Knoxville, Tony Baird and wife Amy of VA. Sister: Gladys Miller of Knoxville. 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 7 PM Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Scott Queener officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Thursday in Jacksboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday before funeral service.
